JENUARY 2016
Greetings from Gonzanamá!
“But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one. We have confidence in the Lord that you are doing and will continue to do the things we command. May the Lord direct your hearts into God's love and Christ's perseverance”
2 Thessalonians 3:3-5
I have already been here for one year. I feel like the time has flown by. Praise God for keeping me safety and healthy during the year! I believe that Your eyes will watch over me throughout the coming year.
I always thank God for your prayers and support. I also pray for the church and each of you who support me. Please continue to keep up with my news and prayer points.
어느덧 이곳에 온지 일년이 지났습니다. 시간이 참 빠르게 흘러갑니다. 작년동안 저를 건강하게 지켜주신 주님께 영광 돌립니다. 앞으로 2016년에도 늘 저를 눈동자 처럼 지키실 주님을 기대합니다.
저를 위해 기도해 주시고 후원해 주셔서 늘 감사합니다. 저 또한 교회를 위해서 그리고 중보자들을 위해 기도 하겠습니다. 계속해서 저를 위해 중보해 주십시요.

The Guitar club
We had performed 2 Christian songs at the school successfully. But we just played the songs and did not sing so it was bit difficult to present gospel to all students and teachers. However, I was able to make friends and had chances to develop deep relationship with students through this club. Keep pray for the guitar club that would be still good chance to enter into their lives and have a good fellowship with students.
저와 학생들은 학교에서 무사히 발표를 마쳤습니다. 단지 기타로 연주만 해서 복음을 전하는데 조금 부족했습니다. 그래도 이 기타클럽으로 인해 많은 친구들을 만났고 교제 할수 있었습니다. 계속해서 기타클럽을 위해 기도해 주십시요.

Christmas and New years day
I spent Christmas and New years' day in Gonzanamà. It's familiar having a hot Christmas and New years' day again here for me, but I missed my family, church and friends a little bit. Anyway! My God was with me during these days, as normal. God gave me a new family here in Gonzanamà. We had great fellowship on Christmas and New year's day all together.
이번 크리스마스와 새해는 이곳 곤자나마에서 보냈습니다. 저에게 더이상 더운 크리스마스와 새해를 보내는건 많이 어색하지 않지만 유난히 가족들과 친구들 그리고 교회가 많이 생각났습니다. 그래도 주님은 이곳에도 저와 함께하셨고 새로운 가족을 주셔서 즐거운 성탄과 새해를 보내었습니다.

New project in 2016
When I got to high school in Gonzanamà first time, Carlos who is a director of the school asked me to make a choir. But at that time, I was not sure about my language skills to do that, so I decided not to do the choir club during first year. Through the Guitar club, I had a lot of positive things, but also I felt limited about presenting gospel. So I decided to have choir in high school this year! I believe that God will lead me and He will show me what I should do! Please pray for the new project for 2016 that help students to meet God and to understand God better.
처음 학교에 왔으때 카를로스는(학교교장) 저에게 합창단을 만들기를 원했습니다. 그러나 그땐 제가 합창단을 이끌만한 언어실력이 않되어 시작할 수 없었습니다. 그래서 작년에 기타클럽을 먼저 시작했고 그 클럽으로 많은 좋은 점이 있었지만 한편으론 복음을 저하는데 한계또한 느꼈습니다. 그래서 이번 년도에는 합창단을 시작하려고 합니다. 분명 주님이 이끄실 것을 믿습니다. 이번년도 새로운 프로젝트를 위해 기도해 주십시요!
Pray Points for September
- Pray that my Spanish learning will help me to teach the students and have Bible studies with them.
- Pray that I could teach music at the high school and also over time, I could have a chance to
share Jesus with my students.
- Pray for the new project, choir club.
- Pray for my health.
- 저의 언어 공부를 위해 기도해 주십시요.
- 학교에서 음악을 가르치는 사역을 위해 기도해 주십시요
- 이번에 새로 시작하는 합창단을 위해 기도해 주십시요
- 그리고 저의 건강을 위해 기도해 주십시요
